Joseph Par “Will” Tafoya is an emerging artist who lives and works in Albuquerque, NM. He has exhibited work at the 3017 Gallery at Artisan ABQ. Joseph’s interest in art stems from his passion for design, growing up in New Mexico’s diverse artistic environments, and his father’s artistic background in architecture. Joseph attended the University of New Mexico starting in 2010 where he took multiple art classes which further expanded his interest in fine art.

In my drawings and paintings, I like to convey emotions and visceral reactions through paintings and drawings. I draw inspiration from geometry, nature, life experiences, sacred geometry, floral designs, nature, the human experience and the beauty of the universe. Creating art acts as a therapeutic outlet for me and helps me express my thoughts and energy.
