My dedication to art is a lifelong journey. I fell in love with the vast, open spaces of the American West when I first set foot in Arizona as a high school exchange student. The desert captured my heart, and eventually, New Mexico became my permanent home.

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression—whether through painting, sculpting, or playing music. As a botanical enthusiast, my garden is filled with plants, many of which inspire and appear in my paintings. I spend as much time as possible outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and exploring the beautiful nature in New Mexico.

My art is a dynamic reflection of my life experiences and the environments I have encountered. Motherhood has also been a profound source of inspiration, continually driving my growth, experimentation, and skill refinement.

Through the use of acrylics and various other mediums, I build textures and layers that add depth and dimension to my work. I seek to capture the fleeting beauty of flowers, those delicate creations that remind us of the impermanence of life. Each brushstroke is a meditation on the transient nature of existence, where the vibrant hues of blooms are as temporary as the moments we cherish. Through my art, I aim to preserve the fragile essence of these blossoms, offering a visual reflection on the delicate balance between life and decay.

In my work, aspens represent resilience, interconnectedness, and life cycles. Their striking white bark and fluttering leaves capture both the stillness and movement I seek to express on canvas. In my compositions, the aspens are often juxtaposed with the shifting seasons or fleeting moments, much like the ever-changing natural landscapes I observe. These trees, known for their expansive root systems and communal growth, resonate with my fascination for hidden connections and unseen energies. They serve as a metaphor for the interplay between isolation and community, something I aim to evoke through texture, form, and the flow of light in my paintings.
