Cecilia is a native New Mexican and she loves the majestic mountains and beautiful desert landscapes of the Rio Grande Valley. From a young age she's shown a natural artistic ability and a passion for creating through varied media, including crafting, beading, jewelry, painting and beaded knitting. Cecilia painted ceramics for 20 years and multiple pieces of her artwork have won Best of Show in the New Mexico State Fair. Cecilia enjoys cooking and expresses love for family and friends by gifting them with her culinary creations. She spent years catering events around Albuquerque, including weddings, graduations, and other celebratory events.

A few years ago, Cecilia discovered diamond art and became captivated by the precise and detailed work. It became her passion. Some of her pieces contain over 110,000 beads and take more than 80 hours to complete. Long intrigued by Van Gogh’s life and artwork, especially the 800+ oil paintings created during the last 2 years of his life, she was captivated by the vibrant colors in his work. Also, a fan of Josephine Wall, Klimpt and many other famous artists she started beading their artwork. She's been commissioned to do numerous pieces by Van Gogh and Klimpt. Recently Cecilia has been working on creating her own unique diamond art designs. One of her greatest joys is sharing her love of artwork with her granddaughter.
