Artist Statement
I started painting in 2015, after taking a beginning acrylics class. I fell in love with acrylics immediately, the consistency, bright colors, easy mix ability, fast drying, variety in application, and the feel of the paint. When I paint, I feel free of every care, becoming lost in the process. I aim for my work to embody energy. I love the process of creating. It is hard for me to define my style, because I like to try new tools and techniques. I think a painting is good if it has energy and emotion. To me, all compelling art conveys feeling.
