I am a life-long photographer and multi-dimensional artist. For over 40 years, my practice has explored a range of image-making techniques, including large format film, digital, motion, drone, and 19th Century photographic processes.
After obtaining a degree in photography from Rochester Institute of Technology, I started my own commercial studio. Best known for food photography, I have worked on national and international advertising accounts since 1976. Throughout a career in advertising, I have always created personal work.
Art is a powerful force for conversation, change and education. After moving to New Mexico, I became intrigued with the energy, customs and plants of the Southwest. The art of regional dance forms, including the Pueblo dance is all-powerful. As a gardener, the desert plants also hold a fascination for me. So, the work is diverse, but that is what attracts me.
