I spent my entire life in Wisconsin until retirement in 2019. While growing up I was surrounded by family members who were very active in hobbies and businesses that involved making things and always encouraged me to develop new skills. As an adult I was fortunate to have been employed for over thirty years at a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed campus that featured a large collection of art to enjoy every day. My work was in the IT field but my hobbies focused upon making unique home furnishings.

Artist Statement

My art is focused on the use of copper either separately or in combination with other materials. My designs are often taken from what I see in nature and regional themes of the Southwest. The development of unique copper patina methods is a driver in further development of my work. In all of my work I attempt to create an appreciation of simple design concepts.
