Stephen Michael Bennett has lived and worked in New Mexico since 1982. On a quest for alternative views and broader horizons, Stephen studied and eventually worked in architectural design and photography. But it was historic restoration with lime-based plasters that led him to develop his innovative approach to fresco – resolving traditional elements and techniques with modern materials. He has continued developing and refining his unique fresco painting methods since 2001.
